| A Legend's Farewell (Brett Favre Retirement Tribute)
|
I am a huge fan and have the biggest respect for Brett Favre and I'm a Chargers fan. I been watching him as I grew up. It sucks to see him retire, but it's best to retire then to have your career end with an serious injury I guess.
I hope somebody out there enjoys this tribute.
Song used in the video:
Explosions in the Sky - Your Hand in Mine

| Arctic Monkeys interview
|
MTV-interview from Roskilde 2007.
Alex Turner and Nick O'Malley.
NOTE:
I've tried several times, but couldn't manage to rip the last minute and about 6 second of the interview.
Here's a transcript:
Interviewer: So, maybe back in the studio?
Alex: Yeah,
I: ...Maybe in the new year?
A: ...um, maybe.
Nick: Or maybe we'll just move away.
A: Yeah, we're gonna start that hockey team.
N: That as well.
I: Oh, that's the plan!
A: Me and Nick's hockey team. And then we'll make a documentary about it
I: Good idea. But you're not gonna retire, are you?
A: No, we're only 21.
N: We're a bit young to retire yet.
I: Yes. I hope not. Anayway, this is the Roskilde festival, do you have any great festival experiences you can share with us?
N: First time we ever went to Leeds, when we were 16, 17-ish. That were like amazing three days, 'cos we'd never been to a festival before. And we were just normal spectators, and loads and loads of bands that we liked played over those three days and like a big group of friends went and we had an amazing time. And then obviously playing is great as well!
I: Of course. Anyway, enjoy this gig, and I look forward to it.
A: Are you gonna watch us then, Freya?
I: Of course I will.
A: Alright, cool. You enjoy it then.
I: You too.
If you live in Norway, Sweden or Denmark, you'll be able to see this remaining bit of the interview by visiting mtv.no/.se/.dk and searching up Arctic Monkeys :)
Thanks for all comments :) |

| ABC News Nightline Report: Bratz Vs. Barbie
|
Well, here we go again! Bratz versus Barbie, MGA Entertainment against Mattel. In this ABC News Nightline report, Isaac Larian, the CEO and President of MGA Entertainment (as well as the seemingly nice man who wants to pummel Barbie and pulverize Mattel), explains that he is in no way going to be intimidated by Mattel's consistent bullying of his Bratz dolls -- or his company, for that matter. He adds that he would go so far as to throw a party for Barbie's retirement. And wouldn't that be a nice thing? Of course, Mattel isn't going to allow Mr. Larian to retire Barbie anytime soon, as much as he would like to see her retired. |

| Michael Schumacher's Exclusive Interview (Part 3)
|
*SPAMMERS, don't bother to post anything on any of my videos, because they'll be removed anyway!*
This was one of the best videos i'd ever had in my collection. So i thought i should share it. It's a never before seen, up close and personal interview in which he had revealed some of his formula to success, as well as the accident in 1999. It's more to a conversation rather than an interview and it's not always that you'll get a friendly Schumi! =P
I've re-editted the previous video as it takes some time to load a 7 minutes video. So no worries...nothing has changed!
***
Q: You are the best in the world and you are by anybody's judgement, nobody even questions that...
MS: You know what, in sport it's always a question. You win a race, the next race is a question back whether you're still the best or not. That is what that's funny but that is interesting and that's what is challenging. YOU HAVE TO PROVE YOURSELF EVERYTIME.
I find this particular bit very interesting. It is very true and i think that really showed that he knows what he is doing-most of the time. And i'm sure most of us(the tifosis in particular) too. That statement had really proved him right. Many were in doubt since Alonso won the championship last year. People went even further by claiming that he should retire as he's no longer fit to race. Whether or not he should retire, he will be the one to decide. As he is about to announce his future in Formula 1 on the 10th of September, consider this as a mini-tribute to him regardless of what the outcome may be. |
