Falling in love - Scully/Mulder

This is my second X-Files video and I'm a little bit nervous. This show helped me through the break of Bones and Moonlight. At first it was only a little band aid and has now grown to an all time favourite!
Mulder and Scully is great together and I can't wait until the movie comes!
This video reflects upon Scully and Mulder. Mulder confuses Scully all the time with his actions and she keeps pondering on her memories, trying to figure out his true intentions.
Mulder is in love with Scully, but know he can't say it, but at the same time he desperatly want to tell her and he's having a hard time keeping his memories and daydreams apart. He dreams about them holding each other all night long and he dreams about how he takes a chance and kiss her.
They are both so confused, but then one thing lead to another and in the end Mulder really do take that chance...

Mulder and Scully in the Lake House
|
This video uses the audio from the movie trailer the Lake House but casts
Scully (Gillian Anderson) in the Sandra Bullock part and Mulder (David Duchovny) in the Keanu Reeves part.
Before I started making videos, there were two YouTube videos that I fell in love with and still love. These two videos inspired me to start making these faux trailer types of videos.
One was EthermoPointer's 'Lake House Parody' which put the characters of Harry Potter against the audio from the Lake House Trailer, this was the inspiration for all of the trailers that I have since created.
The other was requiemx43's 'Mulder + Scully / Romeo + Juliet - The Prologue' which also inspired me to do a lot of combinations of Mulder and Scully with various movies.
So I dedicate this video to these two inspirations. Thank you so much for being my muses. |

Mulder: Half Dead
|
This is an AU (Alternate Universe) video which deals with the question of: What would have become of Mulder had Scully died from her cancer?
I know the title may not make sense to people initially, but it actually comes from a line I included in the video. Mulder refers to himself as being half dead to Skinner. He says it very off-handedly so it might be that he is just joking with Skinner, but personally I think it reflects how he feels as he is losing Scully.
This past summer, I learned that a woman I knew 10 years ago, died from skin cancer. She was a wife and a mother of a one year old little boy. As I made this video, I was thinking of her.
The intro music is from a Buf fy episode called The Gift and the piece is called Sacrifice
The 2nd piece of music is by John Mayer called Dreaming with a Broken Heart.
