One-J - It's Alright (Tribute To China)

One-J DONATES PROCEEDS FROM NEW SINGLE, "It's Alright", TO CHINA EARTHQUAKE VICTIMS
Early July, the new single of R&B Group One-J, called "It's Allright" will be released on-line. All proceeds from this single will be donated to Oxfam Novib, one of the main NGO's dedicating their attention to helping the victims of the China Earthquake.
One J just finished touring China and were on their way back to Amsterdam, when disaster struck in China. The group immediately decided to make an effort to do their part in helping out. Sponsors who support this project are a.o. ABN Amro Bank, Oxfam Novib, Tele 2, Digidance, Exclusives and Britain
One-J states 'We initially felt powerless to do anything, until we came to the idea of recording a special song and dedicating all proceeds of it, to see if we could make a small contribution to helping out the people of China, who were hit so hard by this terrible disaster. The song is called "It's Alright" and it is a clear statement of how deeply we are touched by the drama that has taken place'
The latest news indicates that the earthquake in Sichuan probably took more than 80.000 lives and made almost 5 million people homeless.
"It's Alright" was produced by J. Nap AKA Big-Dawg in co-operation with One-J. During the recording, a Videoclip was shot, which is already being promoted. Chinadaily, China's biggest newspaper and Oxfam Novib Hongkong are also promoting the single in their territory.

R&B formation One-J contributes single "It's Alright" to earthquake victims in China.

The boys of One-J respond to the earthquake which occurred last month in China. In the beginning of July their new single "It's Alright" will be released. A touching R&B ballad, which will let everyone stand still and reflect on the disaster. The single will only be sold digitally and the proceeds will go to the victim relief organisation Oxfam Novib.
The involvement of One-J was born, after they successfully toured through China in April and May of this year for a period of three weeks. Shortly after they took off to Amsterdam the disaster in China took place. One-J is trying to lend a helping hand to the victims even though the distance is great. Sponsors who support this project include, ABN Amro, Oxfam Novib, Tele 2, Digidance, Britain and Exclusives
Short quote of One-J: 'At first we felt pretty powerless, until we came upon the idea to compose a song and contribute to the victims of the earthquake. The song is entitled "It's Alright" and it's a song what everyone needs to hear in order to take time and reflect on reality. With this project we hope to contribute to the aid of the earthquake victims in China.
The latest news about the natural disaster that has been announced by the Chinese government last week is that the earthquake has taken the life of more than 80,000 people in the province of Sichuan. Nearly 5 million people are still homeless.
The song was produced by J. Nap-AKA Big Dawg in collaboration with One-J. During the recordings a video-clip was also recorded. In China the single is already being promoted by the ChinaDaily, the largest newspaper of China and Hong Kong Oxfam Novib.
The group One-J consists of Roscoe J. and Revillino P. They have been busy for five years now. Slowly but surely this R&B band is gaining popularity. They have already appeared as supporting acts for Ginuwine, Bobby Valentino, Do and Replay.
Last year they worked hard on their first album which will be released after the summer.
