Mario Kart Wii: 100cc Lightning Cup, 3 Star, Part 1
|
After a nice two hour break and doing the three other 100cc cups that I needed 3 stars in (All on the FIRST attempt) It was time to finish the final 3 star of the game. I picked a cup that would result in showing the end credits again, why? Victory theme!!
-SNES Mario Circuit 3-
Easy peasy lemon squeezy.
-DS Peach Gardens-
I actually thought I started accelerating too early, so I let go of the button and took a short boost rather than a long one. And I took the corner wide on the first lap to avoid a red shell hitting me from the front. It happened on 150cc and Mirror.
-GCN DK Mountain-
I'm thinking the exact same thing you'd be thinking on the second lap, and then the same thing after that other stuff happened. But hey, this was easy so it was all funny to me.

Mario Kart Wii: Mirror Special Cup, 3 Star, Part 2
|
-Rainbow Road-
Now in my defense of my horrible playing, this is literally the only time I wasn't knocked off the track at the start in 3 hours. After the first lap, I saw my lead and decided... No way in hell am I risking getting screwed over by an error. I get item spammed like it's no one's business.
When I saw the Spiny Shell after my last jump on the 3rd lap I smiled. Losing was impossible!
The result? 3 Stars and never having to do the Special Cup with stupid AI deciding to screw you over 10 minutes into an attempt. This was my final Mirror Cup 3 Star as well.
The mirror end credits were my victory theme for this insane hardship, and the new title screen and unlockable were the cherries on the cake. This time, the cake is NOT a lie.
Due to my rankings in the other cups, this run made my rank 2 star overall. |

I seriously never want to do these ranks ever again if I make a fake alt license. This was the only cup that decided to own me with items every single possible chance when I got to Bowser's Castle... and if they didn't I would get bullied off the first downhill section of Rainbow Road.
-Dry Dry Ruins-
This was actually my worst start of all of my attempts of this. The Bullet Bill was fun though, and helped me pull ahead easily.
-Moonview Highway-
Pretty standard run except for the un-usual amount of blue shells that decided to pop up. For the first one, I purposely braked to get another item to block any incoming red shells. Sure enough, red shell. If I didn't stop, I would've been hit again.
-Bowser's Castle-
I have nothing to say about this except. 3rd lap, last jump in the course. Picture that, but milliseconds earlier. Now, picture that SAME thing happening for 20-ish attempts. Not a pretty sight, I know. |
